In Cambridge there are many different places to have an excellent pub lunch, evening meal or an afternoon tea. However, going out can be quite expensive for some students so why not have a ‘bring and share’. Every 6 weeks at Central Language School Cambridge we invite students to bring food from their own countries so that we can all taste it at an International Lunch. These lunches have proved really popular with students, not only for the food but also the fun of chatting together over a meal! The pictures show a wonderful Sushi made by one of our Japanese students and a delicious yoghurt cake made by a Hungarian student.
Sometimes we do a baking activity for students to teach them how to make traditional British scones! There are differing opinions on whether to put the cream on first or the jam, so to add to the confusion, we also place the jam and cream side by side!
